Tack så mycket!

Hello my lovely readers!

So this week I had the chance to visit Sweden with my colleagues. It was not my first time in Sweden, but I love a bit of Sweden every now and again. We took the cruise to Stockholm and back. We were lucky with good weather and no strong winds to rock the boat. But we totally rocked the boat haha. We had the chance to visit the King’s palace in Stockholm as well as museums and get a taste of the food culture by eating some cinnamon rolls. We also saw the Estonian school in Stockholm. Our tour guide was my lovely friend Liina who lives in Sweden. We walked through Galma Stan and headed to the port by foot. The weather for a walk around Stockholm was perfect.  On the cruise we checked out the midnight shows, first on was the summer of Rock and the other was dedicated to Swedish songs. My friend Kertu was one of the dancers in the group called Dance Factory, they did a really good job. Also the live band was good so we got to dance the night away to some good live music. Here are some photos from our short but cute trip to Stockholm, Sweden.

This is Halloween. This is Halloween.

It’s my Autumn holidays!

The first semester was a blast – so much hard work which totally pays off. Never thought I would love being a teacher this much! When a student asks you that how come you are a such a good teacher, well that just makes my day. I am so proud of these kids and what they do every day. I have grown to love this place with these 2 months.

We ended the semester with a bang – with our Halloween party. We had a Halloween film, we had a play in English where all the students were really nervous, but it was good, we had a dance and a hall full of costumes. I had such a great time and I hope the students did too.

Today, we got our first snow! So this year we will get a white Halloween, hope we get a white Christmas!

Gaudeamus igitur

On the 14th of June, I graduated from the University of Aberdeen. Master of Arts in Literature in a world context and politics is finally mine after 4 years of University in Aberdeen. The day itself was rainy, but absolutely lovely, loved having my parents over, my husband visiting and friends celebrating with me! 4 years of studying and working hard has paid off and I can actually add MA to my name!

I am so excited to graduate and start a new adventure. The university of Aberdeen has been amazing and I am so happy that I chose this place! I will post a link of my dissertation here once it has been graded! A lot of students are handing in their dissertations at the moment and it is such a relief, I wish everyone good luck!
