You lost your independence once before. With NATO, you will never lose it again

August 26, 2016

That’s the words Barack Obama spoke about Estonia!

We have now moved to Estonia and it has been different but absolutely amazing! We got here right on time for the Independence day celebrations and the start of the new school year. We visited my friend’s house and meet the new residents Triinu and Sass. It was a blast to see everyone I haven’t seen for years. I have been working for almost a week now and been busy trying to settle into our new home. We live in a lovely village next to the lake Peipsi and enjoy beautiful views right from our doorstep. Here are some photos of our new life now!

I was such a lucky bride to have my girls by my side

August 15, 2016

I love that you get to see your memories on Facebook. A year ago I had my hen party! So I wanted to share some photos of the Hen party with you.

I got really lucky to gain two beautiful sisters with my husband. I decided to ask them to be my bridesmaids. They had an exciting day planned for me – it was all a secret until we arrived in the first destination!

First of all, we had a spa morning with the family! It was such a lovely girly morning and we had so much fun and got to relax before a busy day. That is when I received my invitation to my hen party with all the plans for the day.

Next stop was lunch at Albyn which is a place I always wanted to have lunch at when I passed it. After lunch, we had a class in cocktail/cocktail making. We had fun and got to make interesting, colourful, yummy cocktails.

After the yummy drinks, we had salsa dancing! We had this awesome Portuguese instructor who taught us all how to dance salsa. After salsa dancing we had tea at Amarone and I have never had a better cheesecake until Cheesecake factory haha!

The night ended at a hotel where we did some hen party games and Singstar and got to munch on lovely cupcakes.

This is a very brief overview, but because I was thinking about my lovely day, I wanted to share some of it with you, my amazing readers!

I am so thankful for my bridesmaids and everyone who took the time to be a part of the day. I wouldn’t change a thing.

Hey, lovely readers!

Today we had the chance to see the Palm Jumeirah. It is an artificial island in Dubai that looks like a palm tree. We had a look around the Atlantis and visited the Aquarium. I hope you enjoy the photos.

Change brings opportunity

August 5, 2016

Those of you who know me personally, know that I love traveling. I love seeing new cultures and speaking new languages. My husband has lived/worked in Dubai for almost 6 months now and the time came to decide what we are going to do next – stay here or take on a new challenge.

So we are moving to…

Estonian Flag

After careful consideration, weighing pros and cons – we decided to move to Estonia. We have loved our time in Dubai and we do not regret the move but we think that we want to take this stepĀ and go back to Europe for a while. Estonia might be just as temporary or permanent as any other place we have lived! I love new adventures and I am excited to embark on this one. I have missed home and my language, I can get my fix of it now.

On another note,

Today I got to see some green in Safa Park! Here are some photos of the park in the middle of big buildings.

We had a lovely day enjoying the sunshine and the park.

Hope you are having a good weekend.

August 3, 2016

Good morning, my fantastic readers!

Thank you so much for all your views as my blog has now over 1000 hits! I wanted to share some photos with you today! This is the Fountain show at night at the Dubai mall next to the Burj Khalifa. Definitely a show you don’t want to miss. The photos won’t show how good it really is, but I really enjoyed it.

Hope you enjoy the photos!
